Rocket Payload Electronics

Worked on payload electronics for a student rocket in collaboration with BYU Spacecraft and BYU Rocketry. My contributions included assembling and wiring an altimeter system and supporting an onboard camera payload for in-flight footage. This project demonstrates electronics integration, soldering, and cross-team aerospace collaboration.

Soldering, Altimeter Integration, Payload Wiring, Flight Electronics
Altimeter, battery, and payload electronics assembled in the lab for a student rocket payload.

Overview

As a member of the BYU Spacecraft Club, I worked closely with a BYU Rocketry team to design a payload for their rocket. As one of five payload-team members, I contributed by setting up an altimeter and connecting it with other electrical components in the system.

One of the biggest accomplishments was sending a camera in the payload to record in-flight footage.
