Eagle Scout Project - Grave Indexing

Led a community service project for St. Mary's Church in England focused on documenting previously unrecorded gravestones. The project created both paper and digital records, including photographs, for more than 500 graves. It demonstrates leadership, coordination, and disciplined execution in a volunteer setting.

Overview

For my Eagle Scout project, I helped St. Mary’s Church in England record gravestone information. We created paper and digital records, including pictures, for over 500 graves that had previously been unrecorded.

This information was later published online to make the records searchable for family-history research.
